for the operation of a French caf\u00e9<\/em> at Hillel Street 35 – Jerusalem<\/b><\/p>\n THE PLACE<\/b><\/p>\n The Institut fran\u00e7ais de J\u00e9rusalem (IFJ) is a French public institution under the aegis of the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem<\/span> which offers to its public, activities around French culture and language:\u00a0<\/span>cultural events (debates, film screenings, concerts…), <\/span>theater, writing and photography workshops, etc.) as well as language courses. The Institut fran\u00e7ais <\/span>invites French and local personalities from the world of culture and intellectual <\/span>world. The Institut fran\u00e7ais works with local partners.<\/span><\/p>\n The IFJ – Romain Gary branch, located at Hillel Street 35 in Jerusalem, <\/span>a media library, a multimedia reception and event space, and four classrooms. <\/span>In a full year, the Institute welcomes an average of 2,000 people a year, of all ages, French-speaking or not.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n THE OBJECTIVE<\/b><\/p>\n The Institute includes a caf\u00e9 area on the ground floor, in the immediate vicinity of the <\/span>library. This convivial space is intended to contribute to the attractiveness of the Institute. The <\/span>provider will be able to participate in the Institute's cultural program, to offer <\/span>and to propose events. For its activities, the Institute will order in priority to the provider.<\/span><\/p>\n The temporary operating authorization for this space will be assigned to the partner <\/span>establishment for a period of one year, renewable, with a view to turning it into a convivial caf\u00e9 space, <\/span>in the spirit of the Institute, with the possibility of offering light catering. The Institute will <\/span>be attentive to offers that reflect the brand image of the Institut fran\u00e7ais by proposing a high-quality <\/span>culinary offer, preferably promoting France's gastronomic heritage, and if possible <\/span>sustainable development (e.g. organic label).<\/span>It's worth noting that the majority of the Institut's customers are kosher consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SPACE AND OPERATING CONDITIONS<\/b><\/p>\n The operable space is located on the first floor, with a floor area of 70 m2, with <\/span>possibility of an outdoor terrace. It is already equipped with a bar, a work surface, a sink and cupboards<\/span>, as well as tables and chairs for 60 people.<\/span><\/p>\n The space is air-conditioned, and includes access to toilets (including disabled toilets).<\/span><\/p>\n The service provider will be able to use the IFJ's sound equipment and projection screen.<\/span><\/p>\n The space is not licensed to serve alcohol.<\/span><\/p>\n The supplier undertakes to obtain the necessary permissions from the relevant local authorities <\/span>necessary for the exercise of its activity.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Suggested opening hours:<\/b><\/p>\n – Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm (extension possible on Thursday evenings and in the case of <\/span>exceptional cultural events)<\/span><\/p>\n – Friday 8am to 3pm<\/span><\/p>\n – Closed on Saturday<\/span><\/p>\n The kitchen area is not equipped for food preparation: Security and safety:<\/strong> <\/p>\n EXPECTED SERVICE PROVIDER PROFILE<\/b><\/p>\n The candidate must have entrepreneurial or associative status, as well as <\/span>a catering license.<\/span><\/p>\n The service provider, and any manager, must speak Hebrew and English<\/span>. French will be appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n The service provider's priority should be to offer pastries and hot and cold drinks.<\/span><\/p>\n All proposals should be inspired by French gastronomy, emphasizing the various <\/span>emphasis on the various origins, particularly local. Breakfast formulas, <\/span>lunches, snacks and tastings for events.<\/span><\/p>\n The service provider will undertake to run the caf\u00e9 with a view to sustainable development, in particular by<\/span>\u00a0avoiding the use of plastics or non-recyclable materials.<\/span><\/p>\n The service provider may make proposals to the management of the Institut fran\u00e7ais to <\/span>develop awareness of new culinary trends (short circuits \/ Slow Food) <\/span>and the evolution of gastronomy.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n FINANCIAL CONDITIONS<\/b><\/p>\n – Rent: NIS 11,000 incl. VAT per month<\/span><\/p>\n – Utilities: a fixed charge of 4,500 NIS (share). This amount does not include any additional <\/span>rental of equipment from IFJ to the service provider. \nThe partner must provide all the necessary equipment: dishes, cutlery, glasses,

\nThe premises are equipped with security cameras and fire-fighting equipment in accordance with local according to local standards.
